When CAVA reached out, they had just completed a full restaurant build-out for their Doral, Florida store — fast-casual with a modern, streamlined look.

During the full build-out, new interior walls were constructed in front of existing windows. In an effort to keep the space looking uniform, the windows were painted white. But the finish didn’t come out as expected, and imperfections were still visible.

From the outside, those areas stood out and took away from the clean look they were aiming for. They needed a way to conceal the uneven appearance and create a more intentional, high-end presentation without drawing attention to what was behind the build-out.

Getting clear on what wasn’t working

From there, we planned a way to create a more cohesive exterior finish with the perfect window film installed on their shop without changing the build out itself. The focus stayed on getting a polished, intentional look that matched the rest of the restaurant.
