With three locations in Miami Beach and North Miami, MBCHC offers primary and specialty care, on-site labs and pharmacies, chronic disease management, and support with Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and ACA health insurance applications.
Creating a healthcare space that worked for both patients and staff
When Miami Beach Community Health Center underwent a full renovation with By His Grace Construction, the goal was to create a modern, durable facility that could support a wide range of healthcare services.
Inside the center, patients visit dentists, therapists, general practice doctors, OBGYNs, and other specialists, making comfort, privacy, and functionality necessary across the entire space.
As part of the renovation, By His Grace Construction replaced roughly 400 exterior windows and doors with new impact glass.
While the new impact windows offered strong storm protection, they didn’t solve several day-to-day problems inside the facility.
The glass provided little privacy for patients and staff, allowed harsh glare to pour into treatment and office spaces, and did nothing to block the intense South Florida heat from warming up the building.
That meant staff and patients were still dealing with uncomfortable brightness, added heat, and a lack of privacy throughout the day.

Understanding the facility’s needs
Working alongside By His Grace Construction, we identified how the facility would function. With multiple specialists serving patients throughout the building, privacy and comfort quickly became the obvious priorities.
Identifying the remaining issues
Although roughly 400 exterior windows and doors were replaced with new impact glass, the renovation still left important gaps. The new windows did not improve privacy, reduce glare, or block the extreme South Florida heat.
Focusing on the next layer of performance
Once those challenges were known, the process shifted to finding a fix that improved everyday conditions inside the facility. The priority was making the space more private, comfortable, and functional for both patients and staff.
And now, the results
Miami Beach Community Health Center needed its new windows to do more than just look good. The space needed more privacy for patients, less glare for staff, and better protection from the intense South Florida heat. By installing dual reflective window film on 400 windows and doors, we helped create a more private and comfortable environment throughout the facility.
